HISTORY

The Proprietress and Administrator of The Learningfield School, Mrs C. G. S. Adepo sees education as the development of character with the fear of God. Driven by this vision, she established The Learningfield Nursery and Primary School in September, 1984 with a population of 280 pupils and a staff of fifty (50). It operates a comprehensive curriculum as approved by the Ministry of Education. Since inception, the school has maintained an enviable position as one of the highly recognized schools in Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole. The Learningfield Schools has a tradition of excellence which is borne out of wholistic education of a total child. As the motto goes ‘Ora et Labora’ pupils blend prayer and hard work to achieve success. Our track record of excellent delivery and continuous development distinguish us from others. The Learningfield Schools believes that every child should be given the opportunity of a good school with qualitative and affordable education. Hence, pupils who have completed primary six in a recognized private or public school regardless of their gender, nationality, ethnicity or religious background, are eligible to obtain the admission form. Everyone who obtains the form is allowed to sit for a competitive entrance examination.
